3 Areas To Track in PowerSheets

PowerSheets are magical. This goal planning workbook is a brilliant system that helps you break down your big goals into practical action steps. Whether you have been using PowerSheets for a while or are brand new, I want to open up mine and share some ideas on areas of life to track. We are going to look at my Tending List from last month.

1. Spiritual growth

I have come to realize that this area is the most important one for me. If I prioritize my relationship with God, everything else falls into place. It doesn’t mean life is always easy. It just means I have the right perspective. Every month I track some type of spiritual action item or habit that is helping me grow in my faith. I am very excited that my Bible reading progress has increased! Getting into the Word has been a huge help in growing my relationship with God. I track this habit in the daily section and it’s been a goal that is growing well!

Some other ideas of practical habits for spiritual growth:

  • Writing in your prayer journal
  • Spending 5-10 minutes listening to worship music
  • Memorizing a Bible verse

2. Physical health

I feel like this one will look different for everyone but my current way to track fitness is tracking how much water I’m drinking (daily) and how often I workout at Burn Boot Camp (weekly). I’ve thought about moving my workout tracker into the daily section and being ok with some more white space since I don’t have a goal of going 7 days a week.

Other action item ideas to track physical health:

  • Eating fruit/veggies daily
  • Measuring nutritional meals
  • Tracking no alcohol
  • Going for a walk

3. Recreation

My personality type tends to have me excited over tracking how productive I am; therefore, I’m not always prioritizing recreation. I’ve made a goal this year of finding new hobbies and sticking with them so I can especially rest on my Sabbaths once a week. So here’s your friendly reminder to take some time for yourself, rest, and do a little self care! I have been tracking going disc golfing with my husband at least once a month & practicing hand lettering weekly.

Additional ideas for tracking recreation:

  • Going to the beach
  • Reading a book weekly
  • Painting your nails
  • Getting crafty with a new DIY

Those are a few of the ways I track habits & goals in my PowerSheets. I hope you gained some new insight if you are getting stuck with your own or are brand new and needed some inspiration!
